When the UConn Huskies kick off the football season on Saturday afternoons, it will be the 20th straight year that Connecticut Huskies football will be broadcast online on the UConn Football Radio Network.

Anchoring the network will be UConn Huskies flagship netowrk WTIC AM-1080 in Hartford, the state's only 50,000 watt AM station. Joe D'Ambrosio, known as Joe D around here, will be broadcasting UConn football radio online for his 20th consecutive season. He is an anchor at WVIT-TV and is a host heard nationwide on ESPN Radio, hosting Countdown to Kickoff on Sunday mornings during the NFL while also hosting the Sunday Night Baseball Game of the Week shows.

Joining Joe D in the booth is Wayne Norman who handles the color commentary for the UConn Huskies. He's been the Huskies football analyst since 1981. Norman has been in radio for over 40 years having called over 1100 UConn sporting events since 1981. Norman is also the Sports Director and morning host for WILI in Willimantic. The pair also partners up for the online radio broadcast of UConn basketball games as well.

The UConn Huskies online radio pregame show begins 90 minutes prior to kickoff, while home games, the UConn Tailgate Show will air two and a half hours prior to the game with Arnold Dean.

For the ninth consecutive season, WTIC AM-1080 will air the Paul Pasqualoni Show, featuring UConn head coach Paul Pasqualoni and broadcaster Joe D'Ambrosio. The UConn Football Radio show will air online on Thursday evenings of game weeks.
